Opto and Sensor Process Development Engineer

Job Summary:
X-FAB is looking for a development engineer to join our Process Development Opto and Sensor team, based in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, working as part of an international organisation developing mixed signal CMOS technologies.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Process development activities for mixed signal CMOS process with a focus on Opto and Sensor devices, such as Photodiodes, CMOS image sensors, SPAD etc.
  2. Define semiconductor process flows and device architectures.
  3. Define, implementation and evaluation of experiments, using method of design of experiments (DoE).
  4. Development and design of test structures.
  5. Offer technical support to customers.
  6. Management of development projects, working in interdisciplinary and international teams.

 

Requirement

Qualification: Bachelor Degree / Master of Engineering in Physics, Microelectronics, Material Science or related subject.

Technical/ Functional Competencies

  • Good understanding of Semiconductor device physics.
  • Knowledge or experience to function, fabrication and characterisation of semiconductor devices.
  • Good technical report writing skill
  • Experience in project work.
  • Trained in the formal use of Design-of-Experiments and statistical techniques.
  • Experience in Layout and TCAD would be advantageous.

Location: Based in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.
