Product Marketing Manager - Silicon photonics (m/f/d)

Location: Erfurt (Germany) or Corbeil-Essonnes (France)

The Product Marketing Manager for Silicon Photonics is responsible for identifying, qualifying and developing business relationships and managing the entire portfolio of Silicon Photonics offering for the X-FAB Group and its local facilities.
 

Your role:

  • Develop the strategy for growing the revenue and profitability of the Silicon Photonics market segment
  • Identify fast growing opportunities by developing close relationships with Silicon Photonics customers, decision makers and influencers worldwide
  • Carry out market research, competitive benchmarking and customer surveys
  • Drive X-FAB towards developing the right technological fit and processes to competitively address Silicon Photonics applications
  • Work with the X-FAB marketing teams, development teams, Regional Sales and FAE teams to win the right customers for Silicon Photonics
  • Develop business development strategy to target major accounts in the targeted Silicon Photonics markets
  • Together with the Marketing Communication team, support promotion plans including marketing collaterals, press releases and Webinars
  • Represent X-FAB in Silicon Photonics specific trade shows,  international events and photonics industry lobbying
  • Report the business development activities and key performance indicators to the corporate management level

 

Your profile:

  • It is encouraged that applicants have a master’s degree in electronic engineering, Physics, Microelectronics, or equivalent. A complementary MBA would be a plus
  • Strong understanding of the Silicon Photonics applications
  • Perfectly master English.  German and/or French knowledge will be a plus
  • Prepared for frequent international traveling 
  • Proven track record on business development for Silicon Photonics
  • Thorough understanding and strong networks in Silicon Photonics and applications industries.
  • Strong expertise in Silicon Photonics applications and emerging technology landscape.
  • Strong expertise in Go-to-market strategy formulation and execution
  • Proven experienced in handling of customer relationship and negotiation and familiar with the dynamics of the semiconductor market.
  • Strong network within the semiconductor and Photonics industries is appreciated.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and assertiveness.
  • True international player and excellent team worker with multi-disciplinary teams
