Study Program:

As a student of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, you will first build a solid foundation in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and electrical engineering during the theoretical phases at your university. From the fourth semester onwards, you will specialize in selected areas.

During the semester breaks, you will work as part of our X-FAB team in Erfurt. You will gain insights into all departments involved in the development and manufacturing of our microchips, from Process Engineering to Chip Design. We will also give you the opportunity to take responsibility for your own projects at an early stage.

At X-FAB, you will be right where the digital and analog worlds come together because we manufacture microchips. Our chips make it possible, for example, to unlock your smartphone using your fingerprint or enable sensors that make cars smarter and more convenient.

Last but not least, you will receive attractive remuneration throughout your entire degree program.
