As part of strengthening our agile development teams, join the X-FAB IT CIM (Computing Integrated Manufacturing) organization as a Test & Validation Engineer.

Working closely with development teams and internal clients, your mission will be to deliver solutions that meet specified requirements reliably, efficiently, and bug-free.

We are looking for an experienced Test & Validation Engineer (M/F/X) to join the IT team at X-FAB France, based in Corbeil-Essonnes (91), France.

Your missions :

Business Needs Gathering

1. • Lead workshops or interviews with users (production, maintenance, facilities, etc.) related to industrial processes.
   • Identify pain points or areas for improvement in the use of existing business applications.
   • Quantify the positive/negative impacts on sector performance.

Functional Analysis

• • Translate business needs into clear and structured requirements for IT teams.
  • Participate in impact analysis in case of system changes.

Interface Between Business and Technical Teams

• • Act as a liaison between end users and internal or external technical teams.
  • Support communication during development or configuration phases.
  • Maintain functional documentation

Change Management / Functional Support

• • Participate in the preparation and execution of functional tests.
  • Prepare or contribute to user guides.
  • Write training materials.
  • Train users on updates or new tools.
  • Provide level 1 or 2 functional support until a product owner in the business organization is upskilled.

Monitoring and Continuous Improvement

• • Collaborate with development teams to analyze and track change requests or functional incidents in JIRA.
  • Prioritize requests based on business priorities and identified ROI.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of industrial processes.
  • Suggest optimization or simplification paths for software usage.

Your profile :

• • You have an engineering degree or equivalent with a specialization in IT.
  • You have experience as a QA engineer or developer (ideally in an industrial environment), mainly on C, Java, C# applications.
  • ISTQB certification is a plus.

Your skills :

• • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Strong understanding of technical aspects of C and Java development.
  • Motivated to learn new skills and programming languages.
  • Team spirit, analytical and synthesis skills.

  • Strong customer commitment.

X-FAB Technological Environment :

• • Development and maintenance of code mainly in ANSI C and Java.
  • SQL language.
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools.
  • Familiarity with JIRA project management and ticketing software.
  • Optional: Knowledge of Java, C#, SQL, Python.
